METHOD FOR STABILIZING VITAMIN C

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stabilizing vitamin C by which the stability of the vitamin C can be improved in the coexistence of a minor element. SOLUTION: This method for stabilizing the vitamin C comprises making citric acid exist when mixing the vitamin C and the minor element housed in each of chambers 2 and 3 of an infusion solution container 1 or just after mixing thereof in the infusion solution container 1. The method for stabilizing the vitamin C comprises regulating the pH of the resultant mixture liquid to 3-6 when mixing the vitamin C with the minor element in the infusion solution container 1. A sulfite is preferably made to exist in each mixture liquid to thereby suppress the degradation of the vitamin C and improve the stability. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
