CONSTITUTING METHOD FOR CASCADE OF URANIUM-ENRICHING CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constituting method for a cascade of a uranium-enriching centrifugal separator which can obtain a product flow where the enrichment of235UF6in the cascade is not over 5% but close to 5%. SOLUTION: In the cascade of the uranium-enriching centrifugal separator where a logarithmic ratio of a heads separation factorαof the separator to a tails separation factorβof the separator (lnα/lnβ) is larger than one, an enriched flow in a lower stage (2) than a top stage (1) is supplied to the product flow in the top stage without mixing the product flow in the top stage and the enriched flow in the lower stage, and the cascade is constituted so that the235U enrichment in the cascade does not exceed the enrichment of the product flow in the top stage. A logarithmic ratio of the heads separation factorαof the separator to the tails separation factorβof the separator where a mixing loss is minimum is obtained, and the heads separation factorαand the tails separation factorβare adjusted so that the logarithmic ratio becomes the above ratio, thereby maintaining the reduction of cascade efficiency small.
