PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeve roll for rolling capable of inexpensively and easily being manufactured and provided together with wear resistance, surface roughening resistance and toughness. SOLUTION: A sleeve roll for rolling, with which, after casting the molten metal contained of C: 1.0-3.0% by weight %, Si: 0.2-2.6%, Mn: 0.2-2.6%, Ni: 0.1-2.0%, Cr: 10-25% and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities into a cylindrical hollow stock material by a centrifugal casting method, the hollow stock material is formed into the prescribed roll shape with a hot-forging method.
