In an optical disk 1 having a RAM area (10) in which writing is possible and a lead-in area (11) in which overwriting is not possible the track pitch of the lead-in area (11) and the track pitch of the RAM area (10) are substantially the same. In the lead-in area (11), of the A tracks (2A) and B tracks (2B) with different polarity of the tracking error signal, lead-in data (3) are written only into the A tracks (2A), whereby cross-talk in the lead-in area (11) can be improved considerably, and the RAM area (10) and the lead-in area (11) can share the same tracking control specifications. <IMAGE> |
