<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve coloring and decorativeness by making light emitting members emit light freely when desired. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device is provided with a 1st light emitting layer 10 for emitting light in color reacting to ultraviolet rays, a 2nd light emitting layer 11 for emitting light in color reacting to infrared rays, an ultraviolet ray emitting element 13 for irradiating the 1st light emitting layer 10 with light in the ultraviolet region, and an infrared ray emitting element 14 for irradiating the 2nd light emitting layer 11 with light in the infrared region. Therefore, either of the 1st and 2nd light emitting layers 10, 11 can be made to emit light in color by selectively making the ultraviolet ray emitting element 13 and the infrared ray emitting element emit light, and also both of the 1st and 2nd light emitting layers 10, 11 can be combined to emit light in color by making the ultraviolet ray emitting element 13 and the infrared ray emitting element 14 emit light at the same time. Thus, the 1st and 2nd light emitting layer 10, 11 can be made to emit light in color freely when desired, and also these emission in color can be combined, whereby the coloring and decorativeness can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
