<p>An electrodeless fluorescent lamp, wherein the film thickness of a fluorescent body film (16') formed on the inner surface of a translucent discharge container (11) having a recessed part (12) for sealing light emitting substance is maximum near plasma (15), reduced toward the connection part (21) thereof with an inner tube (32), and reduced toward a round bottom part (41), whereby, by the film thickness distribution, a light distribution generally equal to that of a lamp bulb can be realized, and an excellent retrieval of light can be realized also when the electrodeless fluorescent lamp is installed in a lighting fitting for the lamp bulb.</p> |
