PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact gas-vent safety valve which suppresses a rise in in-keg pressure when a beer keg is cleaned. SOLUTION: This gas-vent valve is equipped with: a valve body whose one end is to be connected to a cleaning keg and which has a through-hole and a first valve seat formed in the through-hole; a holding member 40 which is mounted at the other end of the valve body; a cylindrical valve element which is movably arranged in the through-hole of the valve body and opens/closes a first fluid passage, formed between the valve body and the valve element, in cooperation with the valve seat; a spindle 50 which is arranged in the holding member 40 and the valve element so as to be movable with respect to them, and opens/closes a second fluid passage, formed between the valve element and the spindle 50, in cooperation with a second valve seat formed in the valve element; and a spring 60 which presses the valve element so as to close the first fluid passage in cooperation with the first valve seat.
