DEVICE FOR REGULATING THE HEIGHT OF AN ARM REST

The invention concerns a device to regulate the height of an arm rest of a seat wherein the arm rest includes a bottom fixed element 11 and a top movable element 12 coupled to the fixed element in a sliding fashion. Between said associated elements 11, 12 there is a positioning device which interacts with complementary locator means 21 on at least one of said elements 11 and which acts at the same time as a blocking unit to fix the height of the arm rest at different levels and as a spring 22 to hold the positioning device normally in the blocking position.
