PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight and thin optical disk conveying roller to be easily manufactured at low costs, wherein a surface friction coefficient is properly adjusted, and a sufficient conveying force is obtained for a long time. SOLUTION: This optical disk conveying roller is constructed in such a manner that thermoplastic elastomer fibers 3 are planted on the surface of a metal shaft 1 by being upright, inclined in the same direction toward the rotational direction of the rollers, or inclined from the end of the roller to the center.
