PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form fine grooves for effecting an outflow of a fluid from an adhesive interface on the surface of an adhesive. SOLUTION: This release liner is shaped like a strip with a microembossed pattern formed of many linear ridges mutually connected to each other. In addition, the ridges have a substantially trapezoidal or triangular cross section on the thickness direction of the release liner and are arranged in a square grid shape on the surface of the release liner. Actually, the recessed part defined by the ridges is substantially of an inverted guadrangular pyramidal frustum. Further, the ridges are oriented at an oblique angle in the longer direction of the strip-shaped release liner. |
