PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end cutter in which a tip part of a lower blade is operated so that the slidable contact clearance between a blade part of an upper blade and a blade part of the lower blade is reduced when the load caused by the stress in the vertical direction of the descending lower blade is applied to the blade part of the tip part of the lower blade in a concentrated manner in the vertical direction. SOLUTION: In this end cutter to cut an end part of a sheet and a bound stuff by the engagement slidable contact of an upper blade 3 which can be elevated/lowered in the vertical direction with a lower blade 5 fixed to the predetermined position, an arm 6 is integrally fitted and fixed to a frame 2 to support the upper blade in an elevating/lowering manner at a first fitting part 7, the lower blade 5 is integrally fitted and fixed to a tip part of the arm extended in the horizontal direction outward of the frame at a second fitting part 8, and a horizontally movable support plate is provided between the first fitting part and the second fitting part.
