摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus having simple arrangement and capable of detecting a fault without extending the width of a bus and quickly switching resource information as to the communication apparatus provided with a plurality of processors or capable of increasing the number of processors. SOLUTION: Upon receiving fault information from an active processor 101 through a fault information bus 103, a detector 107 specifies the active processor 101 generating a fault by retrieving the fault information through a fault recognition bus 104 and sends the address information of the specified active processor 101 to an interrupting control bus 105. The active processor 101 receives the address information from the detector 107 and stops output when the address information coincides with the address information of the processor itself. A main resource control device 102 stores resource information corresponding to the resource information of the active processor 101 generating the fault in a 2nd resource control device of a standby processor 108.
