PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an internal combustion engine more powerful by improving combustion air in the internal combustion engine, accelerating the chemical reaction to the fuel and improving combustion efficiency. SOLUTION: In the combustion method and the combustion air improving device in an internal combustion engine in which liquid or gas fuel is mixed to air and burned, air is introduced into a combustion chamber in such a condition that the air is enriched with negative charged ions, and at the same time, clusters of moisture included in the air are isolated and activated.
