PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to minimize a case by improving utilization of a space in the case. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner includes a case(111) having an inside air inlet(115a) and an outside air inlet(115b) formed on a front end of a body thereof, having a defrosting outlet(112) and a vent outlet(113) penetrating an upper part of the body to be connected with the inside air inlet and the outside air inlet and opened and closed by doors(134,135) installed thereon, respectively, and a floor outlet(114) penetrating a lower part of the body and opened and closed by a door(136); an evaporator(140) installed on rear sides of the inside air inlet and the outside air inlet; a heater core(150) installed on a rear side of the evaporator; a first temperature door(131) installed between the evaporator and the heater core to slide; and a first partition(122) connected with the first temperature door by at least two links(21,22) to be interlocked, controlling flowing direction of inside air and outside air introduced through the inside air inlet and the outside air inlet, and sliding.
