<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser processing head equipped with a smoke detection means capable of automatically detecting smoke generated at an overheated condenser, giving an alarm and simultaneously carrying out emergency stop of the laser processing. SOLUTION: The laser processing head 1 having the condenser 3 in a tube 5 to condense a laser beam LB is provided with a dividing wall 9 having an aperture 7 on the incident laser beam side of the tube through which the laser beam of the condenser can pass a flood light 11 to beam light in the transverse direction of the light path of the incident laser beam between the dividing wall and the condenser, and the smoke detection means 17 comprising a light receiver 15 to receive the light of the flood light.</p> |
