Water-repellent composition comprises a hydrophobic organopolysiloxane, a solvent, an ether alcohol cosolvent, a nonionic silicone surfactant and a cationic surfactant. <??>An Independent claim is also included for production of a windscreen washer composition as above by adding a solution of the organopolysiloxane in the solvent to an alcohol, adding the cosolvent and surfactants, and diluting the mixture with water.
