PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a plurality of second conical rollers 6 and 6 from biting between a second inner race 15 and a second outer race 18 in a wedge-like shape during the assembly irrespective of the direction of a work to be assembled. SOLUTION: A projecting part 30 having the diameter larger than that of a circumscribed circle of large diameter side end parts of the second conical rollers 6 and 6 is provided on an outer circumferential surface of an inner end part of a second holder 21a to hold the second conical rollers 6 and 6. An inner ring 3 is externally press-fitted to a small diameter stepped part 12 of a hub body 2 while the projecting part 30 is slidably brought into contact with an inner circumferential surface of a cylindrical guide tool 31. The second conical rollers 6 and 6 are relatively displaced backward in the press-fitting direction to the inner ring 3 based on the friction force exerted in a slidably contact part. In the above externally fitting work, the large diameter side end faces of the second conical rollers 6 and 6 are abutted on the inner surface of a large flange part 29 of the inner ring 3. |
