<p>A method for assigning access information for a teleconference to a group of conferees comprises assigning a conference I.D. number to the group of conferees (21), and dividing the conference I.D. number into a first portion and a second portion (23). An input sequence is derived from the first portion of the conference I.D. number and assigned to the group of conferees (25). A PIN is derived from the second portion of the conference I.D. number and assigned to each conferee of the group of conferees (27).
