PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor usable at a high temperature of 150 deg.C. SOLUTION: The electrolytic capacitor comprises a capacitor element which winds an anodic foil provide with an anodic leading member, a cathodic foil provided with a cathodic leading member, and a separator. The capacitor is impregnated with an electrolyte for energizing, an outer case for storing the capacitor element, and a sealer for sealing an opening of the outer case. The capacitor employs an electrolyte comprised of a solvent including solfolane as the electrolyte for energizing, and a sealer which is produced by peroxide- curing a polymer of isoprene, isobutylene and divinylbenzene as the sealer, thus making it possible to suppress the deteriorations of the sealer and electronic characteristics at the temperature of 150 deg.C.
