PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound block capable of solving the problems of porous concrete without impairing compressive strength and vegetation performance of the porous concrete, that is, the problems of a covering method and filler material method adopted as early vegetation and the problem of lowering of strength due to wet and dry repetition deterioration as much as possible by the vegetation function of the porous sintered body and the dry preventing function, and promoting growth of plants by capturing soil and seeds of plants by penetrating parts provided in the surface layer part of the block. SOLUTION: This compound block of the porous sintered body and porous concrete is formed by a block base formed of porous concrete and a block surface layer part formed of porous sintered body and stacked on the surface of the block base. The block surface layer part is provided with a penetrating part extending from the surface to the block base.
