PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure gas-liquid equilibrium data of a binary system mixture readily and automatically using the principle of PTx method. SOLUTION: Two series of similar sample system sets A (1), (2),... and pure water system sets B (1'), (2'),... are coupled with a pressure regulation tank (24). A weighed mixture is placed in the flask (1) of set A, stirred by means of a stirrer (16) and a heater (11) and boiled under a specified pressure P in the pressure regulation tank (24). When the boiling point of the sample is determined by means of a temperature measuring body (17) and delivered to a computer (32) through a liquid temperature indicator t3, the pressure P of a flask (1') in the set B coupled with the tank (24) is controlled such that the boiling point of pure water in the flask (1') being heated by means of a heater (11') matches the pressure on a known vapor pressure table.
