PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber unit which can be installed at a low cost in a narrow place and can be used as a sensor of high precision. SOLUTION: The optical fiber unit is provided with an optical fiber, an optical fiber holding part for holding the optical fiber, a reflection mirror arranged so as to face the end face of the optical fiber, and a reflection mirror holding part for holding the reflection mirror, and the optical fiber holding part and the reflection mirror holding part are provided with fitting parts which can be fitted to each other, and one fitting part is formed into a projecting shape having a cylindrical outside wall, and the other is formed into a recessed shape having a cylindrical inside wall which can be fitted to the fitting part formed into the projecting shape, and these fitting parts are fitted and fixed to each other.
