PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the controllability of a memory device which is equipped with a volatile memory (for example, SDRAM) and a non-volatile memory (for example, flash memory) from a host by allowing the host to control data transfer between the SDRAM and the flash memory. SOLUTION: This memory device is provided with an SDRAM, a flash memory and a control part for receiving commands from a host interpreting the commands, and for starting data transfer between the SDRAM and the flash memory according to the interpreted commands. |
