PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive for optical fiber connectors usable in joining optical paths such as mutual quartz glasses used in the optical fiber connectors or joining an optical fiber to a quartz waveguide, and to provide the optical fiber connectors using the adhesive. SOLUTION: The adhesive for the optical fiber connectors comprises an epoxy compound having a fluorinated alkylene group or trifluorinated methyl group, a compound having >=2 epoxy group in the molecule and a photopolymerization initiator or a curing agent. An epoxy compound having a cyclohexane ring is preferably used as the compound having the >=2 epoxy group in the molecule.
