PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information terminal equipment capable of easily judging the attachment destination of a file at the time of starting the file without making it necessary to operate any troublesome work. SOLUTION: A file attached to a received mail is preserved in a prescribed folder so as to be made correspond to the received mail. When the file is started, whether or not the file is a mail attached file is judged (steps C11-13), and when it is judged that the file is a mail attached file, the information of the attached file is read and started from the preserving folder (steps C15-C17), and the received mail corresponding to the attached file is judged, and the mail information is displayed (steps C18, C19). When the file is started, the received mail which is attached with the file is simultaneously displayed so that the corresponding relation of the attached file and the received mail can be easily judged on the screen without searching which received mail is attached with the file.
