The support for a vehicle suspension unit comprising a coil spring (4) and damper (5), with a cover made up of primary and secondary components (1, 2) forming a chamber (E) with external (7) and internal (9) elastic elements containing a disc (6) sandwiched between elastic rings (8, 8'). The elastic rings are made from a cellular thermoplastic material, and the internal elastic element (9) can be made from the same material and optionally in one piece with the rings.
