<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoding system by which the characteristic of an original video can be reproduced also with high fidelity after the compression of moving image data. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a dividing means for dividing moving image data in time series, an extraction means for extracting video feature which each piece of moving image data divided by the dividing means has, a compression algorithm selection means for selecting a compression algorithm matched with a video feature extracted by the extraction means, a filter selection means for selecting a filter matched with video feature extracted by the extraction means, and a compression means for compressing the moving image data divided by the dividing means by using the selected compression algorithm and filter by the compression algorithm selection means and the filter selection means.</p> |
