PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring apparatus capable of enhancing the operating easiness for removing wirings from a modular outlet equipped with screwless terminals and of preventing each wiring metal piece from deformation. SOLUTION: The body part 11 of this wiring apparatus is furnished with the wiring metal piece 12 as screwless terminals and a button 14 for releasing the wiring metal piece. The wiring metal piece 12 consists in a combination of a terminal plate 67 and a chain-shaped metal piece 68 having resilience. The button 14 is structured so that a plate-form piece 77 is projected from an operation part 76 to serve also as the body part. The piece 77 is abutted to the bottom plate 24 of a case 21 in such a way as prevented from slipping off and also abutted to a confronting part 67d formed on the terminal plate 67 so that the moving range is restricted. This allows enlarging the operation part 76 of the button 14 and enhancing the operating easiness. There is no risk that an excessive force from the button 14 applies to the chain-shaped metal piece 68, and the metal piece 68 can be prevented from plastic deformation.
