The invention relates to cosmetic preparations and toothpaste containing polyethylene wax, particularly micronised polyethylene wax with improved organoleptical properties, produced by (co-)polymerising ethylene at high pressure using an aliphatic or alicyclic ketone as a molecular weight regulator.
