PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic capable of sufficiently fixing a waste material of the skin such as keratotic plugs in a water-softening matrix, having characteristics of reduced separation of the water-softening matrix from a support and suitable for removing the waste material of the skin such as the keratotic plugs. SOLUTION: This cosmetic for removing the waste material of the skin comprises a planar support and the water-softening matrix carried on the support. In the cosmetic, the support is a nonwoven fabric having >=50% extension deformability based on the original length in any directions of the orthogonal two longitudinal and transverse directions.
