PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residual life estimation method for an underwater structure capable of correctly estimating a residual life, of correctly obtaining a future operation cost according to it, and of automatically estimating the operation cost, and to provide its device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with: a corrosive deterioration diagram producing device 41 for inputting a plate thickness measurement result obtained by actually measuring the thickness of a plate-like member in a region where the plate-like member is determined to be most corroded, a water quality inspection result obtained by collecting water where the underwater structure is installed and thereafter inspecting the quality of the water, information relating to a kind of coating and its original thickness, information relating to the original thickness of a steel material, and elapsed years of the underwater structure; a coating deterioration database 42 storing a coating deterioration formula for every kind of coating; a steel material corrosion database 43 storing a steel material corrosion formula; a repair cost database 44 storing information relating to a repair cost; and a life cycle cost diagram producing device 45 for producing a life cycle cost diagram.
