PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver that can considerably relieve the time and the manipulated variable required for showing data program service items desired by a viewer. SOLUTION: An operation means 3 operates channel selection and selection/ execution or the like of a data program service, and a registration means 4 uses the operation means 3 to register particular data program service items. An operation history storage means 5 stores the operation history to be registered in registration means 4 by the operation means 3. A data analysis means 6 analyzes a data structure and contents of data program contents sent from a basic signal processing section 1 based on the stored contents of the operation history storage means 5 and optimizes execution procedures. A control means 2 selects the registration information to be exhibited generated by the registration means 4 so as to execute control over each means and the basic signal processing section 1 including control for executing the optimum procedure obtained by the data analysis means 6.
