<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch gear for power capable of being reduced in size. SOLUTION: In a composite switching unit 2 stored in a metallic casing not shown, a vacuum valve 4 for three phases is stored in a tank 3 filled with insulating gas. The vacuum valve 4 is passed through the tank 3, and operated by operating members 56 and 78 laterally movable while maintaining an air-tight in the clearance thereof from the tank 3 to isolate and turn off a current through a main circuit in the vacuum container and open and close a ground. Since the vacuum valve 4 to isolate and turn off the current through the main circuit in the vacuum container and open and close the ground is stored in the tank 3 filled with insulating gas, the peripheral surface withstand voltage and the insulation-to-the earth insulation performance of the vacuum valve 4 can be increased, the size of the tank 3 can be decreased, and the size of the switch gear for power can be reduced.</p> |
