PURPOSE: A method and a system for providing an insurance service using mileage are provided to offer insurance goods proper to a client by linking mileage information with personal inclination information and to make a client apply insurance by calculating a proper premium and an insured amount through the mileage of the client. CONSTITUTION: A mileage insurance service system(100) comprises a mileage controller(105), an insurance processor(110), a personal information database(115), a mileage database(120), an insurance goods database(125) and an insurance management database(130). The mileage controller comprises a mileage confirmation part, a mileage analyzer and a customer inclination extracting part, confirms the usable mileage of the client(140) connecting to a web site, and extracts the personal inclination data by analyzing a mileage use pattern and grasping the personal inclination. The insurance processor(110) offers the proper insurance goods to the client(140) by referring the personal inclination data, produces the premium and the insured amount of the client(140), pays the premium by using the mileage of the client(140), and processes renewal of the insurance after expired day.
