PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome problems such that not only conditions unfavorable from a hygienic point of view are caused but also the sauces and oil of block foods such as a hamburger and a croquette adhere to a person's hands and clothes so as to make them dirty, when the block foods are taken out of a packaging material and held directly in his/her hands. SOLUTION: This individual-food container made of a sheet material can house a single piece of the ready-to-eat block foods F. A container body 1 is made deep enough to allow the storage of the approximately whole block food F; and a tearing working part 6, in which a strip-shaped piece 62 can be spirally and continuously torn off from an upper end of a side peripheral wall 2, is formed in the peripheral wall 2. In addition, when the block food F is eaten, the piece 62 is ripped in a prescribed length by spirally tearing the working part 6, so that an upper half part of the block food F can be exposed and eaten without direct contact of his/her hand with the block food F.
