TRANSFLECTIVE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A transflective liquid crystal display is provided to increase reflective rate and realize a white mode like paper in a transflective mode by realizing a normal black mode, thereby improving the performance of a display. CONSTITUTION: A transflective liquid crystal display includes a front polarizing plate(7) and a front phase difference plate(6) installed at an upper substrate(1) in order; a transflective reflective plate(10), a rear polarizing plate(8), and a rear phase difference plate(12) installed at a lower substrate(2) in order; and a backlight set(11) installed under the rear polarizing plate; wherein light passing through a liquid crystal is reflected from the transflective reflective plate and then is absorbed at the front polarizing plate; light emitted from the backlight set is circularly polarized at the rear phase difference plate and then is absorbed at the front polarizing plate; and refractive rate anisotropy of the transflective reflective plate is under 50.
