<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic color toner which hardly causes changes in the hue by light. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic color toner contains a binder resin and a coloring agent. The main component of the binder resin is a polyester prepared by condensation polymerization of an alcohol component containing an alkylene oxide adduct of bisphenol-A expressed by formula (I) with a carboxilic acid component containing a polyvalent carboxylic acid compound having a valence of >=2. In formula (I), R is an alkylene group with 2 or 3 carbon atoms, x and y are positive numbers and the sum of x and y ranges from 1 to 16. The toner contains a chromatic coloring agent as the coloring agent by 0.1 to 15 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of the binder resin, and has less than 4% of the component having <=500 number average molecular weight in the toner.</p> |
