PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-shrinkable polystyrene resin film which is best-suited for a packaging material to be used for covering, tying, exterior or the like of a container, and a label and the container using the resin film. SOLUTION: This heat-shrinkable polystyrene resin film is characterized in that the maximum rate of heat shrinkable in the length after treatment by heating the film for one minute at every temperature per 10 deg.C from 100 deg.C to 150 deg.C to the length before treatment, in the main shrinking direction, is not less than 40%. The film is attached to a bottle in the form of a full label for a transparent container having a cylindrical tube shape whose main shrinking direction is a cylindrical section direction. The average value T of the near ultraviolet permeability after heat shrinkage represented by formula (I) T=A/B is not more than 0.5, wherein A represents the average value (n=10) of the density of a light energy passing through a film and a transparent container in such a state that the heat-shrinkable polystyrene resin film is attached to the container; and B represents the average value (n=10) of the density of a light energy passing through the transparent container in such a state that the heat-shrinkable polystyrene resin film is not attached. |
