<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the distribution plate for a cassette filter device improved in filtering capacity and effective life and easily adaptable to the alteration of pipeline standards. SOLUTION: The unidirectional or bidirectional distribution plate for an orthogonal flow cassette type filter instrument used in the ultrafiltration or precise filtration of a liquid is provided. A distribution plate assembly 1 comprise a central panel member 8, an upper panel member 9, and a lower panel member 10. The distribution plate assembly 1 constituted by combining these panel members has a front surface 2, a rear surface 3, a first side wall 4, a second side wall 5, a first end wall, and a second end wall. The front and rear surfaces of the distribution plate assembly 1 have supply, residual and filtrate orifices 14, 17, and 18 arranged so as to be connected to the supply, residual, and filtrate orifices of a plurality of filter cassettes. Equal pressure is achieved in all of the orifices by the distribution plate assembly to make the equal flows on the surface of a filter film certain to increase filtering capacity.</p> |
