PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic imaging camera which will not incur unwilling disappearance of an electronic image. SOLUTION: This electronic imaging camera is equipped with an imaging means 1, which includes an imaging element and possesses an image signal processing function of converting the image signal generated in this imaging element; a nonvolatile storage means 4 which stores the image data generated by this imaging means 1; a first radio communication means 6 which performs the transmission of the image data to an external storage means 8 and the reception of apparatus classification information from that external storage device 8 through radio communication; and a CPU 2 which determines the classification of the external storage device 8 by the apparatus classification information, eliminates the image data, whose transmission by radio communication is over when it is a specified apparatus, and prevents deletion of the image data in case that it is not a specified apparatus. |
