PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of design in a system LSI designed by using an IP core. CONSTITUTION: For instance, in the case of the system LSI (four-layer product) loaded with functional blocks IP 1 and IP 2 for the design, a common IP core IP a to which two wiring data M4I and M4S of different film thicknesses sharing a wiring pitch are allocated corresponding to a metal wiring layer M4 of a top layer are used. Then, at forming of the functional blocks IP 1 and IP 2, the wiring data M4I and M4S of the common IP core IP a are selectively used. Thus, the common IP core IP a is utilized for forming the two functional blocks IP 1 and IP 2 of different types corresponding to the specifications of a product. |
