<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly and quickly give various kinds of information in the moving area of a traveling object such as a vehicle to a player. SOLUTION: In the displaying method of a course map for a driving game in which the reduced drawing of a driving course is made to overlap a part of the animation screen of the player and displayed as the course map and the symbol of a player car is displayed on the course map to show the present position of the player car being the traveling object operated by the player on the driving course to the player, the symbol of the player car is displayed at a prescribed position on the screen with its position and direction fixed, the course map is displayed with the positional coordinates of the symbol as a center, the course map is moved along the symbol with traveling of the player car on the driving course and the course map is rotated relatively with respect to the fixedly displayed symbol according to the variation of the direction of the player car on the driving course.</p> |
