PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoplifting prevention tag where a cord can be attached (connected) to a display stand (merchandise stand) as a single body or can be left as it is by making a tag main body separable from the cord, merchandise positions can be easily changed by making it possible to easily attach/detach the tag main body, also the tag main body can be easily attached and detached to/from the display shelves, etc., by providing a ring with a small diameter at the rear end part of the cord and further, a plurality of the tag main bodies can be attached to the display shelves, etc., by providing a plurality of connectors to the tip of the cord, and which can be used multipurposely by making it possible to change the cord to a long or short code as necessary. SOLUTION: This shoplifting prevention tag comprises a fixing part to be attached to merchandise, a detecting part for detecting that the tag is detached from the merchandise, the cord connected to the display stand, etc., a cut-off and separation detecting part for detecting that the cord is cut off or pulled out and an alarming part for emitting alarm sound with a detection signal by the detecting part and/or the cut-off and separation detecting part, is configured to attaching a connector provided at the front end of the cord main body to the tag main body in a freely attachable and detachable way, and can separate the cord from the tag main body.
