SINGLE SURFACE OPTICAL FIBER SPLITTER HAVING INTEGRATED TYPE MINUTE BEND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber assembly provided with an optical fiber parts and a minute bend in an integrated type assembly. SOLUTION: The optical fiber assembly 10 is provided with a minute bend 20 for optical fiber. The minute bend 20 is fitted fixedly to base material 24, and is provided with an optical component 12 also fixedly fitted to the base material 24. The assembly 10 is provided with at least one optical fiber 14 provided with an in-side fiber part 18 and a return-side fiber part 22. The minute bend 20 is formed on its middle part. This middle part contains the optical fiber part between the in-side fiber part 18 and the return-side fiber part 22, and performs inversion of a direction between the in-side fiber part and the return-side fiber part. The in-side fiber part and the return-side fiber part are fixed into grooves 26 formed on the base material 24 in the relation overlapped each other.
