<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for heat-treating thick steel plate, which can effectively heat thick steel plates online in a large quantity giving little residual stress, in heat-treating the thick steel plates which have been subjected to accelerated cooling after hot rolling, and to provide a device therefor. SOLUTION: The method for heat-treating thick steel plate is characterized by subjecting thick steel plates after hot rolling, to an accelerated cooling by a cooling system provided on the outlet side of a hot-rolling mill, and heat- treating them with an induction heating device provided on the outlet side of the cooling system.</p> |
