PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid catalyst capable of speedily efficiently performing anionic lactam polymerization, and to provide a method for manufacturing the liquid catalyst, and the like. SOLUTION: A converted product of a lactam(LC), an isocyanate(IC) and a base(B) are contained, and the converted product is dissolved in a solvated medium (S). A method for manufacturing the liquid catalyst is also provided. Further, the liquid catalyst is used for manufacturing granules, or the like, prepared from polylactam.
