PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phototherapeutic system with an infrared ray therapeutic apparatus, which can promote medical treatment effects without giving a uncomfortable feeling such as a hot feeling to a patient. SOLUTION: The phototherapeutic system comets of a infrared ray therapeutic apparatus 10. The phototherapeutic apparatus is composed of a halogen lamp 12, a heat-resistant glass plate 21, a color glass filter 22, and a control unit 13. The halogen lamp 12 casts rays with a wide wavelength zone including visible rays. The heat-resistant glass plate 21 and the color glass filter 22 select the rays of a specified wavelength zone from the beams cast from the halogen lamp 12. The control unit 13 controls the lighting state of the halogen lamp 12. The control unit 13 also controls a lighting period and a lighting pause period of the halogen lamp 12.
