<p>A vulcanised microcellular rubber is divided into granules or powder, then reagglomerated by mixing with a different coloured unvulcanised microcellular rubber binder, the heterogeneous compsn being then vulcanised. The material may be used in shoe mfe. for heels and soles. The synthetic material has greater flexibility and abrasion resistance and lesser tendency to split, compared with cork-rubber mixtures.</p> |
