An image pickup advice system includes a personal computer (1) of a user side and a computer (2) of a server side connected to the personal computer (1) via a network (3). Image data picked up is transmitted from the personal computer (1) of the user side to the computer (2) of the server side. The computer (2) of the server side analyzes the image data received, creates an advice for image pickup method according to the analysis result, and transmits the advice to the user personal computer (1).
