A process for the recycling of PET flakes from comminuted PET bottles, wherein the flakes are subjected to a washing treatment, are treated for at least 20 minutes in at least one washer at an elevated temperature higher than 70° C. with a cleaning solution which contains caustic soda, and at the same time are also mechanically and hydraulically treated. |
